IEA World Congress Mexico 2017
The International Economic Association (IEA) is pleased to announce its Eighteenth World Congress to be held in Santa Fe, Mexico City between Monday 19 and Friday 23 June 2017.The congress is jointly organized with the Centro de Investigación y Docencia Económicas, CIDE, Mexico. The theme of the congress is Globalization, Growth and Sustainability.
The world congress is a global event, it is the sole world meeting embracing all fields of economics, including all areas and all approaches, from theory to empirics. Because of its broadness, it attracts not only scholars but also distinguished economists from non-academic institutions such as central banks and other public institutions from a very wide range of countries, permitting a rich exchange of views.
The upcoming congress will feature research presentations by leading economists from across the globe. More than 500 economists are expected to attend and over 400 papers will be presented in parallel academic sessions. There will also be a number of policy sessions and keynote lectures.
